I was so excited to get a new projector that I didn't take the time to mount it at first. I placed it on the dining room table and had it shoot across the living room on to the screen. There it sat for a while, perched on a stack consisting of my drill case and the empty Wii box. It worked, I was finally able to watch a movie on the big screen! However, there was a major drawback...you had to slouch low into the couch when watching a movie or the top of your head would cast a shadow. Yeah, it would have to be mounted properly.
           A buddy at work, Mike, has a projector as well and had built a mount for it for something like $25. That sounded like a pretty good price tag to me. So we went to the hardware store and bought some pieces and parts. The photos that follow show the step by step construction that took place:

• Centering the 3/4" plexiglass on the bottom of the projector.
• Marking where the holes will be drilled to mount the projector to the plexiglass.
• Centering the mount fixture on the plexiglass.
• Drilling the holes for the mount fixture.
• Drilling the holes and mounting the projector to the plexiglass.
• More drilling.
• Finishing up the drilling.
• Mounting the fixture to the plexiglass.
• Adding the screws and washers.
• The final steps of mounting the projector to the plexiglass.
• The finished product.
• Ta-da!
