The center channel rack I had made to support my Infinity center channel worked great, but as I upgraded my speakers I ran into a new problem. My new center channel weighed close to 90 lbs! The rack that I had made previously would have snapped in a second had I placed my new center channel on it. Even if it could support the weight it definitely wasn't wide enough. Something else had to be done.

Because of the size and weight of my center channel I had to create a new type of rack, though this one was more of a "cage" than anything else. It was designed to "slip" over the TV, as well as allow the center channel somewhere to rest.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any "in production" pictures of this one as well, so I'll share what information with you that I was able to dig up. I still need to paint it as well.
